In 1999 Mark Reiff bought his first antique gas pump for $75
at a garage sale in his neighborhood. Eventually he got the idea to
make a replica antique gas station in the front yard of his house. Over
the years he has collected antique items that "spoke to him" whenever
he could afford to buy them. He found these at petroleum swap meets, in
classified ads in the newspaper, and by word of mouth. Thousands of
people from all over the world have now enjoyed their visits to Reiff's
Gas Station Museum.
